Trash Collection Alert - New CDC Regulation
Regulations and recommendations issued by the CDC on waste pickup. ALL waste needs to be bagged and tied. NO loose trash. Minimize interaction with public 6 feet distance. Area Waste is also using protective gear and disinfecting their trucks after each run.

Schedule for trash pick:
The schedule for trash pick up will be as follows:
Residents living East of I-75 will have trash pickup on Wednesdays.
Residents living West of I-75 will have trash pickup on Mondays.
Holiday trash pick up:
Holidays to move the trash collection days to Tuesday and Thursday when they land on Monday
or Wednesday are: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas and New Years Day.

The monthly cost for Township wide residential trash pick-up are as follows:
- Year 2016 - $ 7.28 per month Year 2021 - $ 7.59 per month
- Year 2017 - $ 7.28 per month Year 2022 - $ 7.59 per month
- Year 2018 - $ 7.38 per month Year 2023 - $ 7.90 per month
- Year 2019 - $ 7.59 per month Year 2024 - $ 8.00 per month
- Year 2020 - $ 7.59 per month
How much trash is allowed to be set out to the road?
Per the contract with Area Waste, up to (5) 30 gallon bags are allowed to be put out. No bag is allowed to weigh more than 40 pounds.
IMPORTANT On the FIRST pickup of each new month - you will be allowed to set out one large item for pickup.
